The fourth addition to their Guitar Amp Simulator line harnesses advanced 3rd generation circuit modeling technology to deliver a dynamic and responsive amp tone. This time, they’ve gone even further by capturing the essence of Vox Amplifiers* and recreating their iconic sound across multiple decadesmaking the distinctive tones of the 70s, 90s, and late 2000s accessible to modern guitarists. A parallel signal path that mirrors the jumpered mod, using both the normal and top boost channels, brings added character and depth to the sought-after amp sound. A treble booster pedal effect is also integrated, offering a complete modern interpretation of the classic setup.

The Vox AC30 was introduced in the late 1950s, in response to the growing need for louder amplifiers as rock and roll took center stage. Known for its bell-like chime and bright jangly tone, the AC30 became a defining element in shaping the sound of British rock, played by legends such as The Beatles, Queen, The Who, The Clash, Ritchie Blackmore, Oasis, U2, and Radiohead.

After more than 50 years of continuous production and several evolutions, the Vox AC30 has been reimagined with three of its most defining tonal eras combined into one amplifier: the Amplifikation Lancaster.
