Produced by Mike Hedges – famed for his work on The Cure’sSeventeen Seconds & Siouxsie and theBanshees’s A Kiss in the Dreamhouse – and mixed by Alan Moulder, Split sees the band hit a poppier sound whilst retaining their almost pitch-black feel.
