Sabian 10″ HH Duo Splash
The Sabian 10″ HH Duo Splash delivers crisp, articulate response with a compact footprint that works beautifully in tight home-studio setups or as a secondary accent cymbal for multi-mic recording applications. Its thin construction produces quick stick definition and fast decay, making it responsive to dynamic playing across a wide range of volume levels—essential for capturing natural, controlled cymbal articulation in the studio. This cymbal bridges vintage character with modern cymbal design, appealing to producers and engineers seeking authentic tone without sacrificing playability in tracking or overdub sessions.
Tone & Character
Built from B20 bronze, this splash produces a dark sonic signature that cuts through a mix without harshness or frequency masking. The vintage voicing emphasizes warm fundamentals and quick articulation, making it equally effective for punctuation, crashes, and atmospheric swells—whether layered in post-production or tracked live to capture its natural response.
Construction & Design
The half lathed, half raw finish combines controlled sustain from the lathed zones with added complexity from the raw bronze areas, contributing to its distinctive tonal character and capturing nuance in multitrack recordings. Weighing in at thin profile, the cymbal maintains sensitivity and quick response while remaining durable enough for repeated takes and session work.
