Sabian 10″ HHX Splash Brilliant Finish

Sabian 10″ HHX Splash Brilliant Finish

The 10″ HHX Splash captures fast, biting attack with rapid decay—a cymbal engineered to sit prominently in the mix with penetrating cut and simmering Modern Dark tone. Hand-hammered from premium B20 bronze, this splash generates musical dirt and articulate bite across all dynamic ranges, ensuring clarity and definition in recordings and live tracking sessions. The brilliant finish amplifies the cymbal’s visual presence while maintaining the dark, complex character HHX is known for.

Tone & Studio Performance

Built with HHX Tone Projection design, this splash delivers simmering heat and musical grit that cuts through dense drum mixes without sacrificing the dark, colourful character essential for layered production. The rapid decay rate ensures maximum transient definition on attack while the thick, unturned bell adds body and punch to every strike, making this cymbal equally effective in controlled studio sessions and high-energy live recording situations.

Construction & Finish

Hand-hammered B20 bronze construction delivers the tonal complexity and durability Sabian is known for, while the brilliant glossy finish provides both aesthetic appeal and a smooth playing surface. The somewhat thicker bell design contributes to the cymbal’s projection and sustain characteristics, distinguishing it from lighter splash alternatives.
