Sabian 12″ AAX Splash Brilliant Finish

Sabian 12″ AAX Splash Brilliant Finish

The 12″ AAX Splash is a compact, responsive cymbal that cuts through a mix with articulate clarity. Its smaller diameter and lightweight construction make it quick to respond and easy to control, ideal for producers and engineers tracking drums who prioritize definition and cut in their cymbal palette. The brilliant finish enhances visual presentation while delivering the modern, bright character that defines Sabian’s AAX series.

Tone & Recording Character

Built from B20 bronze alloy, this splash produces a bright, cutting tone with fast decay—characteristic of AAX cymbals designed for contemporary recording and mixing applications. The 12″ diameter sits perfectly between definition and projection, making it equally effective for isolated accent work or layering with other cymbals in multitrack sessions.

Construction & Finish

The brilliant high-gloss finish provides both aesthetic appeal and a smooth playing surface. At approximately 425 grams, this cymbal remains lightweight enough for quick articulation while maintaining the durability expected from professional-grade Sabian manufacturing.
