Sabian 18″ HHX Fierce Crash
The HHX Fierce Crash captures explosive attack with a quick, responsive character that cuts through dense mixes during tracking and mixing. Designed by Sabian for drummer Jojo Mayer, this cymbal combines crash speed with raw oriental aggression, producing a dark, simmering tone with genuine bite. The ultra-thin weight makes it exceptionally fast and reactive, ideal for sessions demanding projection and character in modern and experimental settings.
Tone & Projection
Built with HHX Tone Projection design, this crash generates distinctive darkness and agitated bite that projects clearly across recording environments. The combination of speed and explosiveness with raw, dirty aggression produces a simmering heat and musical dirt that commands presence in the mix without sacrificing definition across multitrack productions.
Construction & Recording Response
