Sabian 19″ HHX Evolution Crash Brilliant Finish
This 19″ HHX Evolution Crash captures articulate transients and explosive attacks while maintaining tonal warmth that cuts through dense mixes. Developed in collaboration with legendary drummer Dave Weckl, it delivers a fast, shimmering response with exceptional projection and clarity. The brilliant finish coating enhances high-frequency definition, and the cymbal’s high-fidelity sound balances bite and warmth across its frequency spectrum—crucial for recording sessions where both detail and musicality matter.
Tone & Response Character
The 19″ crash sits in your mix with remarkable separation between bright highs and warm lows, giving it notable penetration in dense arrangements. Its extreme sensitivity means full articulation even at whisper-soft dynamic levels, allowing producers to capture nuanced cymbal textures and explosive accents within the same take without re-miking or post-processing.

Hand-hammered from B20 alloy (80% copper, 20% tin with traces of silver), this cymbal represents Sabian’s most durable and musical bronze formulation.
