Sabian 21″ AA Rock Ride Cymbal
The Sabian 21″ AA Rock Ride captures aggressive punch and penetrating power with a big, bright bell and solid, full-bodied stick definition. This workhorse cymbal is engineered to cut through dense mixes in rock, funk, jazz, and blues sessions, delivering classic vintage brightness that sits prominently without muddying the low end.
Recording & Mix Characteristics
Built from B20 bronze—a time-tested alloy of bronze, tin, and silver—this ride produces bright, explosive energy with a substantial, full-bodied response to the stick. The big, bright bell combined with authoritative sticking definition captures aggressive transients and maintains clarity on overheads and room mics, ideal for high-volume tracking and styles demanding crisp articulation and projection through the frequency spectrum.
Build & Durability
At 3271g (median weight), this is a heavy-weight cymbal engineered for aggressive playing and maximum durability. The substantial mass contributes to its powerful projection and sustained resonance, backed by SABIAN’s two-year warranty against defects.
