The VX 8 may be one of the smaller Dual Concentric full-range loudspeakers in the VX range, but it delivers an exceptional performance-to-size ratio. VX 8 provides a compact, yet punchy and sonically articulate solution for small-scale performance sound reinforcement, demanding background music, and high-intelligibility speech applications where clarity and natural vocal reproduction are essential. The VX 8 is also ideal for complementing larger systems, making it an excellent choice for both installed and portable applications. Sold as a pair.

Dual Concentric Driver

The 520-Watt 200 mm (8″) Dual Concentric driver in the VX 8 uses TANNOYs point source technology to ensure high power output with sensitivity and efficiency. It delivers precise 90 dispersion for optimum coverage with exceptional forward gain.

Performance Applications

The trapezoidal enclosure design allows versatile placement, including small-scale FOH, floor monitor, delay, and stage front fill deployment. A blanking plate is included for optional VTH pole mounting atop a subwoofer in portable PA setups. Optional VX 8 high-performance steel mounting hardware (sold separately) includes a horizontal yoke bracket and Omnimount spaced inserts for wall or ceiling installation. All hardware is tested and certified with a greater than 5:1 safety ratio for complete peace of mind.
