Waldorf Microwave 1 – Version 2

Waldorf Microwave 1 – Version 2.

A faithful software recreation of the legendary Waldorf Microwave 1 Plugin, bringing one of the most iconic hybrid synths of the late 80s/90s into modern DAWs. It combines classic wavetable synthesis with authentically modeled analogue filters, preserving the character, imperfections, and sonic depth of the original hardware while expanding it with modern workflow features.

Key Features

• Authentic Hardware Recreation: Modeled after the original Microwave, including wavetable engine, envelope behavior, and modulation quirks.
• Hybrid Synthesis Engine: Combines digital wavetable generation with analogue filter modeling (Curtis-style filter response).
• High-Resolution Internal Engine: Runs at an ultra-high internal sampling rate (250 kHz) for precise waveform reconstruction.
• Expanded Polyphony (v2): Up to 32 voices with preserved micro-timing and analog-style variation.
• Advanced Playback Modes: Round Robin and Random Robin for natural variation and evolving textures.
• Integrated Arpeggiators: Both per-part and global arpeggiators with creative pattern options.
• Creative Delay Effect: Includes filtering, tremolo, diffusion, and pitch shifting.
• Deep Wavetable Editing: Edit, design, and randomize wavetables and waveforms directly inside the plugin.
• Layered Multi Mode: Stack sounds for complex hybrid textures with detailed mixing control.
• Modern UI Workflow: Fully scalable interface with visual modulation, envelopes, and waveform display.
